Kitchen Renovation

The homeowner was looking for a more open floor plan connecting the kitchen and living room. We removed a wall that divided these two rooms and installed a steel LVL to support the structure. We also installed modern-style doors and windows that open to the backyard.
As part of the kitchen renovation, we expanded the kitchen four feet towards the backyard, added a large kitchen island, new electrical with dimmers, customized the staircase railings, refinished the existing wood floor using an oil base product, and installed a new hood and new make-up air unit. Due to the expansion, we installed new exterior siding and a new roof.
